About Local Buses in Meribel
Meribel is the largest of the Three Valleys resorts, made up of several hamlets all of which are connected via regular buses services. There are also frequent public routes to Val Thorens and Courchevel via Moutiers.
When looking at timetables be aware that they're in French so L = Lundi / Monday, M = Mardi / Tuesday, Me = Mercredi / Wednesday, J = Jeudi / Thursday, V = Vendredi / Friday, S = Samedi/ Saturday & D = Dimanche / Sunday.

Meribus is the free bus service which runs from 07:00 to midnight seven days per week during the winter and summer seasons. Buses run between La Chaudanne and the Altiport every 15 minutes throughout the day and between Meribel and Mottaret every half an hour. Buses also link Meribel with Meribel Village, the various hamlets below the resort, and Les Allues. This service has frequent buses early morning and late afternoon, but less frequent service during the day.
The villages of Brides les Bains, Les Allues and Le Raffort are all linked to Méribel by the Olympe gondola lift which runs during the day. Mottaret has a gondola lift linking the top and bottom of the resort which runs until 19:30.

The closest bus station is in Moutiers, the town at the bottom of the mountain which is also where you'll arrive if you're coming by train. Buses from the nearest airports usually stop at Moutiers, from where you need to catch another bus to Meribel (see below).
Buses from Chambery airport to Meribel operate four times per day on Saturdays and once on Sundays during the ski season. It takes around 2h00 to 2h30 hours to get to Meribel Centre, changing at Moutiers on the way.
Buses from Lyon airport run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the ski season and take around 03h15 to get here, also changing at Moutiers on the way. They operate twice a day on Fridays, four times on Saturdays and twice on Sundays.
Buses from Grenoble operate on Saturdays and Sundays in winter and are scheduled to meet arriving flights. It takes around 2h00 to 2h30 to get to Moutiers from this airport where you can pick up a connecting bus into Meribel (see below)
Buses from Geneva airport operate every day of the week in winter with six buses on Saturdays, four on Sundays and three on all the other days of the week. This route takes around 3h00.

There are bus services connecting Moutiers with Les Allues, Meribel Village, Meribel Centre, Mottaret, Meribel Altiport and Brides-les-Bains. Children under 4 years old can travel for free on this service and 4-12-year-olds travel at half price.
From Moutiers, you can take buses to the neighbouring ski resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens.
