About Mountain Biking Trails in Meribel

In Méribel bike park you'll find something for every ability of rider, for families and novices to World Cup riders. There are dedicated downhill tracks, enduro or cross country trails and 4x4 (or fire road) trails which are good for beginners and are shared with hikers. All the trails are marked in accordance with the FFC (France's Federation of Cycling) so you'll always know what grade of trail you're riding, from the easy greens and blues to the more difficult reds and blacks.

Plus, you can link up to even more trails in the neighbouring Belleville Valley (Val Thorens and Les Menuires) and Courchevel Valley increasing the overall amount of trails to around 200km. To access Val Thorens, Les Menuires and St Martin de Belleville, take the Tougnette lift to the top and cross over into the valley. To return to Méribel you can come back the same way via the St Martin lift, or head further up the valley and go to the top of the Bruyeres gondola descending into Méribel above Mottaret. 

If you decide to go and check out the Courchevel valley, take the Pas du Lac lift to the top and cross over from the top of the Saulire.  You'll need to come back up the Saulire to get back in to the Méribel Valley. 

Please note that you may have to factor in bus up-lifts to your day if you choose some of the trails that end in Les Allues and Brides Les Bains, and keep an eye on the lift schedules so you don't get stuck in one of the neighbouring valleys!
