Conditions still wonderful in Meribel
Mid-winter weather as we near mid-March
It hardly bears thinking about but the end of the season is only 6 weeks away! Conditions in resort still feel very wintery with lots of cold snow all over the resort.
All the slopes are open bar one which is closed because there is too much snow and is threatened by avalanche danger. The French holidays are now coming to an end which means it's the end of the busy season in resort, so expect quieter pistes which stay in condition longer.
Next week sees the 'Piste Bash' comedy and music festival hit town. Expect plenty of fun events, including big-name acts like Marcus Bridgestock and Newton Falconer.
