Regional specialities & Grill at the foot of the pistes

Featured in:

This restaurant is ideally situated right on the pistes of Meribel, offering easy access by skis or on foot and stunning views of the mountains.

Enjoy a hearty lunch on the sunny terrace, where rapid and efficient service will ensure that you don't lose any time on the slopes! If the weather is not so good, you can dine in the cosy atmosphere of the hotel lounge beside the fire place.

For a lunch, a Brasserie menu is offered with many different dishes including meat from the grill, “Les Rendez-vous de La Table” (one different dish for every day of the week), regional specialities, pasta, delicious hamburgers and many more. The brasserie is split over 2 floors, with an open kitchen and a Argentinian inspired grill.

In the evening, La Table du Ruitor offers a splendid 5 course menu for hotel guests and outside guests as well. There also is the option to choose “a la carte” and wines from the extensive wine list.

You can relax by the crackling log fire or enjoy a drink at the bar before or after your meal.

The Neighbourhood

Méribel-Mottaret is the highest village in the Méribel Valley, stretching up from 1750m. Created in the 1970s, Méribel-Mottaret is mainly made-up of chalet-style apartment buildings situated on the edge of the pistes. Almost all the accommodation offers direct access on foot to the pistes and you can leave your car in the indoor car park. The head of the valley is dominated by the Mont Vallon, rising to 3000m above the resort. Mottaret is surrounded by a forest of fir-trees and is next to the Tueda Nature Reserve, with its lake, pine forest, cross-country skiing pistes and hiking trails.

Visitor comments

  • "I went here twice after skiing down to Meribel. Outside the area was packed so I sat inside for a meal. The surroundings were excellent including non-clump floors for ski boots!! Toilets were immaculate too. Had a broccoli veloute (soup) for starter which was tremendous (and came with a hearty bread basket). Main was steak one day and boulibaise the other. Both were exceptional and didn't dissapoint. Wine by the glass was good too. Service was the highlight though with informative and well presented hosts. Genepe to finish!" - Trip Advisor
  • "Everything in the Alpen Ruitor is top spec, from the decoration and furnishings throughout the hotel to the wonderful fare served from breakfast till dinner. Every evening, Laurent and his talented team prepared the most delicious dishes from a set menu that had more courses than was probably good for us." - Trip Advisor
  • "There was a fixed 4 course menu which changed every evening and included appetizers such as soup, scallops/prawns, entrees including foie gras, duck, beef tournados, veal, followed by a cheese offering and dessert. The desserts were truly works of art and simply delicious." - Trip Advisor
