The best places for apres ski, live sports and events this week

featured in Nightlife reviews Author Alexis Beaumont, Meribel Reporter Updated

Looking around, you may have noticed some changes in Meribel. Nights have become colder, people are searching for those extra thermal layers and drinking more vin chaud than normal, and there’s a tonne of fluffy white stuff on the ground…

Salut fellow snow worshippers! This week, Meribel has a mega-packed line-up of après nightlife and events for you to enjoy as we enter the fifth official week of the season. Live music, food promo’s and comedy acts are what’s in store and what better way to start the week than with a generous dump of fresh powdery snow falling all weekend long.

Sunday 15th January sees another week of Lodge Du Village’s infamous Toss The Boss challenge from 10pm. Due to high demand, TTB returns for all those willing to enter into a gamble with the boss over a round of drinks, any drinks. All that lies between you and free alcohol is the innocent roll of a dice. Seem easy enough? Head down to LDV in Meribel Village and introduce yourself to the team.

Take a journey back to the 1920’s with Lodge du Village’s Speakeasy event also happening Monday night from 10pm. Enjoy live jazz music from Jay Tamkin (Mr Clean) and friends as well as a new list of prohibition cocktails on a 2-4-1 offer between 10pm-11pm.
