This charming apartment is situated in the heart of Meribel Village close to all local amenities including a small supermarket, bar and two restaurants, a bus stop with a regular service into Meribel Centre and the Golf chairlift.

Decorated in a traditional style this wood clad apartment has an open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen that includes a full-size oven and dishwasher so you can self-cater with ease. There is a dining table that easily seats 6 and a comfortable sofa and armchair where you can relax in the evenings. At the far end of the room glass French windows provide access to a spacious balcony with views out over the village. 

For entertainment, throughout your holiday the apartment includes a flat-screen TV with UK channels, WiFi access and a stereo with iPhone connection. As an added bonus guests have access to a shared indoor pool within the residence which is perfect for bad-weather days.

The apartment also includes a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.


The apartment can sleep up to six in one twin/double en-suite room and two further twin/double rooms that share a separate bathroom.

Méribel Village was a sleepy hamlet until the arrival of a chairlift and developers in the 1990s. It is now an attractive and popular mini-resort in its own right. The chapel, communal oven and converted stone barns give the village an authentic charm. The newer developments are built in sympathetic stone and wooden chalet style, offering high-quality accommodation. The village is laid out around a sunny square where the chairlift is located, surrounded by shops and restaurants.

Within Méribel Village itself are two restaurants: Le Bo a Mil is a characterful converted barn offering French and local cuisine and La Terrasse offers good French food. A five-minute drive away is Restaurant Le Plantin, in the hamlet of the same name, offering fine dining in a sumptuous setting. Meribel Village's superlative bakery offers excellent snacks for picnics.

Sights nearby

The Fonteney Forest above Méribel Village is a protected area of mountain woodland. It is rich in wildlife, thanks to the proximity of the Vanoise National Park, and walkers may see deer, spot wild boar tracks, and hear woodpeckers, owls and birds of prey.

Things to Do nearby

As well as skiing, Méribel Village is an ideal base for hiking. In winter, you can explore the network of groomed walking paths linking Meribel Village with all parts of the valley. Non-skiers can take the chairlift up to the Altiport ski area with its picnic areas and scenic walking paths. For children, there is a sledding area at the foot of the piste. In summer, there is wonderful walking and mountain biking through the surrounded meadows and forests. There is easy access to the actvities in Meribel centre via the free bus service.

Golf-clubs nearby

Méribel's 18-hole golf course is located at the Altiport area, a 10-minute drive from Méribel Village. It has a driving range, practice area and club house. The Club holds regular competitions throughout the summer; the course is closed in winter.

Lifts/Pistes nearby

The Golf chairlift whisks skiers from the village centre to the pistes, beginners areas and fun zones at the Altiport. From here you can also directly access the pistes of the Meribel Valley and the Three Valleys. The blue Lapin piste returns to the village centre and stays open all season thanks to efficient snow cannons. Non-skiers may also use Meribel Village's chairlift.

What to book?


The apartment is let on a self-catering basis, however a range of upgrades are available from mid-week cleans and a set-up shop to daily pastry delivery and oven-read meals. The companies oven-ready meals are freshly made by their chefs and delivered to the apartment. They offer a varied number of dishes from British and Savoyard classics to more adventurous and international cuisine.

Families & Kids

This company are very child friendly. They can buy any additional necessities for you in advance so you don't have to overload your suit-cases, for example nappies, wipes etc. They are also able to source babysitting and childcare services from local certified companies. 

For those children old enough to ski, when the companies drivers drop them off at ski-school each morning they provide packs of tissues, SPF lip balm and a chocolate bar to help them through the day.

Ski Hire

You’ll need to book your own ski hire, when staying here. There are many choices for hiring equipment. Generally, you’re best off choosing somewhere close for ease of access, & less far to carry your kit, easier to make changes, and quicker to return and pay at the end. Nevertheless, many suppliers will deliver and some snow-front rental stores offer ski lockers, so it’s worth checking out all the options.

Lift passes can be organised easily in advance and will be ready and waiting for you on arrival in the apartment.

Instructors & Lessons

When staying here, you’ll need to book  your own ski or snowboard lessons. Tuition is strongly recommended for complete beginners and is always a good idea whatever your level to perfect your technique. Group lessons are a great way for children to learn with their peers whilst giving you some free time on the slopes. Groups are also a generally cheaper option for adults, however, with a private instructor you’ll have undivided attention and be able to progress at your own pace.

When staying here, you’ll need to book your own Guides & Tours, which are a great way to discover Meribel whilst doing a number of fun activities. During the winter, if you are keen to go off-piste, booking a High Mountain Guide is strongly recommended. Not only do they know the best local spots, these highly trained and experienced individuals are very familiar with the surroundings and can provide loads of insights you won’t get by yourself, as well as helping to ensure your safety.
