Double the fun: Méribel hosts two March festivals in 2010

As if the brilliant Altitude Festival of music and comedy (20-26 March) wasn’t enough, Méribel now offers a second festival this winter. The Little World Festival (15-19 March) offers music from major acts including The Feeling and Sophie Ellis Bextor, and promises over 40 gigs during the week including a free open air concert on the piste.
The success of The Feeling’s 2008 Méribel open air concert has encouraged organizers, Mountain Trading Company, to create a much bigger event this winter. Acts including The Feeling, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Fiction Plane, Ed Harcourt, Glen Tilbrook (Squeeze) and Graham Gouldman (10cc) will perform in venues including Méribel’s Auditorium and at a free open air concert outside the Rond Point.
With two weeks of international talent performing live in Méribel, it will be difficult deciding which week to choose for your holiday this year….
