Spring time entertainment in Meribel this week

featured in Nightlife reviews Author Jack Franks, Meribel Reporter Updated

Spring is here, apparently. Although we had plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine last week, it appears the mountains have not yet given up on winter.

Temperatures have once again dropped and a small amount of snow has fallen once again. The slopes are in marvellous condition for the time of year so get out there and enjoy them! In the meantime there are plenty of fun activities for you to enjoy over the coming week.

Wednesday 30th March

The First Track. 8.10am. Meet at Pas du Lac bubble lift in Mottaret to be the first to head up the mountain. You’ll be greeted at the Pierres Plates restaurant for a delicious continental breakfast followed by a guided ski down the mountain before anyone else has touched the fresh cord. For info call 04 79 00 42 38

Savoie Evening. 7.30pm. Le Clos Bernard Restaurant. This magical restaurant tucked away in the woods host a magical savoyarde evening every Wednesday. Accessible only by foot in the evening, meet at the rendezvous point (Le Blanchot Restaurant) at 7.30pm, grab a flaming torch and head into the woods to enjoy a welcome drink, live accordion music and a delicious traditional menu.
