Mountain Restaurants in Meribel & the 3 Valleys
Restaurant Chalet Hotel Marie Blanche
The restaurant of the Chalet Marie-Blanche certainly deserves it's excellent reputation in the resort. Open either for lunch, being a few metres from the pistes (sign-posted on the right-hand side on the Doron run into resort, just below the Adret chairlift), or dinner in the evenings, when you can enjoy views of the lit-up resort below, you will most be impressed by the quality and flavours of the dishes presented to you. A savoury blend of Savoy-style tradition and classic French cuisine full of creativity, which is refined without being fussy. The desserts aren't bad either! ...read moreLe Blanchot
Le Blanchot is without doubt one of the finest restaurants in the Méribel valley, with a loyal clientele who return year after year to enjoy superior gastronomy in beautiful surroundings. The restaurant is located above Méribel, on the road leading to the Altiport. You can ski or drive here for lunch, and on sunny days you can enjoy spectacular views from the dining terrace. At night the setting is even more fairytale, the lights of the chalet romantically twinkling in the forest. (For non-skiers and those who would rather not drive, it is conveniently located on the free Meribus route.) ...read moreRestaurant Le Tremplin, Courchevel 1850

Le Rond Point

It also boasts one of Méribel’s best piste-side, sunny dining terraces with great views over the valley. Sadly, on the day we visited the Rond Point, clouds were shrouding the valley, so instead of sunning ourselves outdoors we ate in the cosy, wooden restaurant under the eaves of the first floor. The service here is always excellent: the young and enthusiastic British staff were very friendly, and all is efficiently overseen by the Manager, Justin. ...read moreRestaurant Le Yeti
Superbly situated at the Rond Point des Pistes, set against a backdrop of a pine forest and hugging the slopes, there is quite possibly no other hotel in the resort like Le Yeti. The hotel's style could be best described as 'refined simplicity', without fore-going attention to detail its owners prefer relaxed friendliness to excessive luxury. And for lunchtimes the sun-facing terrace is open offering a superb French menu. ...read moreRestaurant Le Plantin
Le Plantin has quickly established itself as one of the restaurants in the 3 Valleys. Every lunchtime the dining room is populated with instructors and their clients from other resorts – despite the fact that the restaurant is not on the piste. Owners Agnes and Robert Burdet succeed in attracting discerning diners from afar with Le Plantin’s combination of fine cuisine, excellent service and gorgeous décor (a stunning mix of elegant chic and traditional Savoyard). ...read more
