More snow in the 3 Valleys! : 16th February 2012

It snowed lightly all day yesterday with around 5-10cm falling. The temperature has risen massively with minus 5C forecast for the summits today. It feels positively tropical in the resort compared with the temperatures of the past couple of weeks.

We haven't had a major dump of snow for a couple of weeks now but, thanks to the recent cold snap, conditions have remained excellent, ableit pistes were becoming a bit scraped during the afternoons. This recent snowfall will refresh the pistes nicely. Good timing for the holidays!
