Ideally located next to the bottom of the piste the guys at Jack’s have managed to blend fun and sophistication to create a truly enjoyable après ski experience.
As well as a good selection of draught beers, including the notorious 7% Mutzig, they also have a great choice of top shelf spirits and the biggest cocktail list in town. They take great pride in their cocktails and their menu has something for everyone from the classics, to hot ones, non-alcoholic and big ones to share.
If you are just looking to warm up after a cold day on the slopes then they have a full café card and delicious hot chocolates made with their own closely guarded recipe! Toffee vodka has become synonymous with the Alps and ours is one of the few that is still made in-house.
Throw in some of Meribel’s most talented musicians Monday to Friday between 5-7pm and you have yourself the perfect après ski!
At night time there is always something going on in Jack’s, whether it is one of their regular weekly events (like the infamous and not to be missed “Toss the Boss”…on Sundays from 10pm), all the live sport on four massive screens, DJ nights and crazy themed events. Also keep an eye out for some of the biggest names in stand up comedy (Al Murray, John Bishop, Ed Byrne, Marcus Brigstocke to name a few) who they bring out regularly throughout the winter to perform in the bar.
Although famous as a drinking venue Jack’s does also offer an extensive and great value pizza and snack menu for anyone looking to avoid the often overcrowded and overpriced mountain restaurants. Food is served non-stop everyday from midday to midnight and takeaway is available for anyone wanting a quiet night in before a hard day on the slopes. For a more gourmet dining experience make sure you go next door and check out Jack’s little brother Evolution Restaurant.
Happy Hour is everyday 4-5pm plus Cocktail Happy Hour 9-10pm. Free wifi and a free pool table are also on offer.
