A quick look at what's coming up on the events calendar this winter

featured in News & reviews Author Ellie Mahoney, Meribel Editor Updated

The winter season is almost upon us, so we thought we'd give you a heads up on what there is to see and do on the events calendar so far this season..

The season kicks off in early December with a ski touring race hosted by Alp Attitude and the Andros Trophy over in Val Thorens, which draws huge crowds from around the world.

Christmas, New Year and Russian Christmas quickly follow and we suggest you keep an eye on our snow reporters and nightlife reporters for what's going on where nearer the time.

In January the British Armed Forces come to town for their International Ski Championships, and then the biggest event of the year in March - the Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals comes to Meribel. After that in April the 3 Valleys Enduro is back where anyone and everyone is encouraged to join in the fun.

That's all that's confirmed for now, but do keep an eye on our events calendar where we'll be adding more events as they get signed up.

If you have an event you'd like to share with us, get in touch via the newsdesk.
