LET is enjoying something of a renaissance this season, having been recently taken over by the experienced team of Sarah Mundy and French chef Eric Gelin. They have redecorated the interior, re-vamped the menu, and succeeded in creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

We dined here in the evening, when the large central open fire gave the room warmth and charm, and the atmosphere was lively (though not noisy), thanks to the open bar.
