This historic bar-hotel-restaurant located in the heart of the village of Allues is one of the oldest establishments in the Meribel valley - in 1938 it witnessed the opening of the resorts first ski lift, right outside its doors.

Today, Hotel la Croix Jean-Claude is the heart and soul of this mountain village. Gérard, the host, and his team welcome you in as friends and invite you to taste the refined cuisine of chef Aurelie Lemieux who has been cooking with products fresh from the market.

The seasonal menu will surprise even the most delicate palates with its new inventions, but most exceptionally the gourmet jewels on which the restaurant's reputation is built - the morel mushroom omelette. The wine list is in harmony with the food, rich in beautiful appelations and crus classés.

Bedrooms are comfortably furnished in a pretty farmhouse style and all have ensuite facilities. Accommodation can be booked on a half-board or Bed & Breakfast basis during both summer and winter seasons.
